this work was created in painter and photoshop
it is a character development piece. much of my work either develops in pencil or in an open form color study digitally.
this is a perfect example of how my work begins to be realized. after this stage if it is the one selected, i will usually shoot photo reference for everything from face to hair to the jaguar fur around his neck.
